Summer Hours of Operation

Weather Permitting

Tuesday through Friday

10:00am to 5:00-5:30pm

Saturdays, Sundays, and Selected Holidays

10:00am to 6:00-6:30pm

Closed Monday

During daily operation (Tuesday through Friday), trains generally run on the hour beginning at 11:00am. On Saturdays, Sundays, and selected holidays, trains run on the hour, every forty-five minutes, or every twenty minutes, when two trains are running, depending on the number of passengers and the weather. For the occasional Monday holiday we are open, please check the Monthly Calendar for the days we are scheduled to be open, weather permitting.

Occasional bad weather, cold winter temperatures, and high summer temperatures can affect our daily operation (opening times, closing times, days of operation). Please call us at 817-336-3328 for the latest information on the Forest Park Miniature Railroad.

Weather permitting is defined as sunny and 50 degrees or above, no appreciable wind, no appreciable precipatation.

The Forest Park Miniature Railroad does NOT accept credit cards, debit cards, or personal checks; we accept cash only.
